Job Title: Purchase Assistant

We are looking for outstanding professional with passion, dedication and commitment to excellence and innovation who are interested in contributing to business development whilst supplementing their income in the post of “Purchase Assistant”.

Job description:

  • Updating Day to Day data entry for Purchase activities
  • Co ordinate with Branches
  • Prepare orders and follow up
  • Inventory control – Physical Vs Accounting.
  • Develop an active process for measuring supply inventory and determining purchasing needs on schedules
  • Daily basis checking Stock level for all branches.
  • Day to day Shipment status update and follow up for arrivals.
  • Payment advice to be prepare as per Payment terms and dues
  • Review Purchasing Agreements with vendors and maintain open line of communications with those vendors
  • Commercial Document follow up from vendors
  • Audit commercial document and record keeping
  • Purchasing Entry posted to Accounting Application
  • Reconciliation of Purchase record weekly basis
  • Prepare different kind of Purchase reports.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and establish long- term purchasing arrangements with vendors when it is beneficial to the company
  • Compare product deliveries with issue purchase orders and contact vendors when there are discrepancies.
  • Ageing Analysis For Vendor Outstanding (Payable) Daily
  • Reconciliation of the Accounts payables to the Monthly Supplier Statements
  • Cross checking Receipt of partial ship of goods against Pending Purchase Orders.

 Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in financial or business-related field;
  • 3+ years’ experience in a purchasing role
  • Excellent Reporting Skills
  • Excellent computer and application operating skills
  • Excellent Communication Skill – English & Arabic
  • Proven history of efficient supply management
  • Work with task priority based on company needs
