General responsibilities: | |
The HR & Administrative Officer is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Somalia Program’s Office in Garowe, including and most notably providing support in administrative tasks, including logistics and finance, upon need and request. The HR & Administration Officer will coordinate activities and communication with the NPA Somalia office in Mogadishu and Las Anod as needed and agreed. Tasks are to include:
HR and Administration: · Supervise all administrative activities within NPA Garowe Office · Ensure that all staff and visitors of NPA Garowe office are briefed · Ensure office is kept clean and organized at all time · Supervise and check condition of office equipment and request repair/ maintenance if needed in coordination with logistics department · Implement monthly time sheets for Garowe office staff · Be able to step in as liaison with federal state and authorities where needed · Maintain filling system for all the administration document in coordinating with Admin & HR Officer · Any other duties requested by Admin & HR Office or the line of management Finance: · Handling of documents at the Garowe NPA Office, including financial documents, personnel files, and other administrative files · Timely preparation of payment vouchers and processing of suppliers invoices · Ensure timely request for office bills/utilities from the suppliers · Management of the NPA Garowe Office petty cash Logistics: · Raising procurement requests on timely basis, and management of office kitchen/stationaries · Liaising with the Logistic department on Garowe office procurement needs · Collection of parcels/documents from airport and dispatch of parcels/documents to Las Anod and Mogadishu offices when/of necessary · Collecting invoices from regular suppliers in Garowe and Ba’Adweyn |

Relevant degree / diploma and/or combination of experience and qualifications
