The SWS Assembly invites seven (7) applicants who are Somali citizen for following young graduate.

Description of the Post;

Background         Since the establishment SWS Assembly began to create institution building, office space setup election of the president, endorsement of the council ministries, reconciliation, and democratization and participate federalism process. To implement the above stated duties, the SWS Assembly Leadership focuses to recruitment young graduate staff;

Scope of Work               Principal Duties and Responsibilities

The SSG fellow, or under this program, will be assisting in program execution of the program’s Parliament related activities. Activities range from supporting administrative and technical needs. Below are illustrative tasks which describe the general nature and level of work to be performed by the person assigned to this fellowship.

S/he will be under the supervision of the Secretary General Terms will assist SWS Assembly in the implementation of the project activities in following areas

  • Administration and Finance
  • Planning and coordination
  • Public outreach, Media and Public relation
  • Institutional development
  • ICT (Information and Communication Technology)
  • Covering plenary sessions (events planning, taking Minutes and report writing)
  • Legal affairs
  • Human resources and logistics


  • Must be University graduate
  • Proficiency Somali and English
  • Computer literate in standard software
  • Demonstrated the ability to successfully intact with individuals of different cultural background and beliefs, which include willingness to try, understand and be tolerant of differing opinions and view.

Eligibility criteria

  • Must be Somali Citizen (Valid ID)
  • Must be committed for period ending January 31, 2020
  • Must be graduate University in the related areas
  • Comprehensive CV with three contactable references persons
  • Copy all academic qualifications
  • Must be eligible to work in SWS State
