PSI/Somaliland was founded in 2007 to socially market safe water tablets and long-lasting insecticide treated mosquito nets and has since expanded, including programs for maternal and child health to improve the health status of Somali people especially women, children and the most vulnerable. Working in partnership with the private and public sector and with other development partners, PSI provides life-saving products, clinical services and behavioral change communication interventions throughout Somaliland. What are we looking for?

PSI/Somaliland seek to enter into Long Term Agreement with a competent provider of Medical Cover Services aka “Medical Insurance” and Group Personal Accident Insurance (GPA) for an initial period of one year with possibility of extension.

The medical cover scheme referred here, will provide medical coverage for PSI-Somaliland Local full-time employees and their dependents. While the GPA Cover will provide insurance coverage for only full-time employees.

This Invitation for Bid “IFB” process will result in a Long-Term Agreement of an initial period of one year and is renewable up to a period of two years subject to satisfactory performance.

If you are interested and could provide the required services, please register your company by sending an e-mail with your expression of interest and the following required documents to:  Somprocurement@psi.org no later than 3rd December 2020

Firm’s updated profile detailing the firm’s expertise, track record and relevant experience

Registration Certificate with relevant authorities in Somaliland, Puntland, and Federal Government of Somalia

Tax compliance certificate

List of your Top Five Clients- INGOs, UN and Private Companies

To receive the full documents of the Invitation for Bid please include the words “IFB Registration” in the subject line and the following information in the body of the e-mail message: company name, contact name, phone number and e-mail address. In response, PSI will send you the full “IFB” document.

All proposals, including appendices and all supporting documents, must be submitted in a plain sealed envelope bearing or only: Medical & GPA Cover Services “IFB” and dropped in the TENDER BOX following address:
