TERMS OF REFERENCE OF RESTOCKING OF VULNERABLE HOUSEHOLDS OF DURUQSI VILLAGES IN TOGDHEER REGIONS
BACKGROUND:
Horn of Africa Voluntary Youth Committee (HAVOYOCO) is a regional Non -governmental
Organization (NGO) operating in Somaliland and Ethiopia. HAVAYOCO was founded in 1992 and since its inception it has successfully implemented different development projects in Somaliland and Ethiopia. HAVAYOCO was initially set up with the aim of being a volunteer and learning institution and to address the needs of poor communities and marginalized groups in Somaliland.

- The Service needed
HAVOYOCO in partnership with Development fund of Norway is currently implementing a CRISP project that will be executed in selected communities for Togdheer Regions. A total distribution livestock is 300 at Druqsi community, approximately 15 HHs will be targeted to reduce the vulnerability of the communities and households to climate related shocks and disasters.

- Objectives
Restocking of livestock (sheep and goats) is part of the activities that is going conducting, and in the meantime – this year. The project planned to give shoats to the destitute households whom does not have better livelihoods to cover up the needs and requirements of the households needs.
The villages will have 312 Shoats and goats as the team prepared a selection criteria for the beneficiaries of this activity in order to make that things are going in the right direction. This means there should transparency for the distribution of shoats as the given families will be the most vulnerable households whom have the rights to get is going to allocate.
- Monitoring
In contrast to the short period needed for giving out livestock, a relatively long period is required to monitor the degree of success achieved by recipients. The information desired relates both to operational difficulties and to evaluating socio-economic impacts.
A possibility not tried within Somaliland would be to do away with monitors entirely, by relying instead upon local committees for surveillance. In any event, how to best provide monitoring remains an open question.
- Technical support
There are one areas where restocking projects require technical support:
- In deciding the number and type of animals to provide;
- The selection and treatment of animals on purchase; and,
- The supply of drugs and health care for livestock subsequent to restocking.
- The Village to be distributed and composition of Shoats
The shoats should be 50/50 where 50% are goats and 50% are shoats. The age of the Shoats need to be 1 year up to 1.5 years. Besides that the village we need to distribute the shoats will be.

Terms and Conditions
- Bank account with a proof of statement from last six months.
- Must have relevant experience of 3 years in similar field. Please attach evidence like certificates, recommendations etc.
- Valid relevant registration or license form municipality.
- Work plan –clearly showing collection and distribution of the shoats.
- Updated company profile indicating full address, organogram, contact persons, key personnel.
